As briefly touched-upon in the podcast, lightsabers in the Star Wars franchise are powered by Kyber Crystals which also determine the colour of the blade. The crystals are harvested by young Jedi and the process turns the crystal to a specific colour. Sith and Dark-Side users, rather than harvesting the crystals in the "proper" way, will dominate them which turns the colour to red - hence all the evil dudes having red swords. You can read more about Kyber Crystals and much, much more Star Wars lore, (there's lots), over on Wookiepedia.
For music fans, we're updating the way our Patreon rewards work slightly - specifically the free music downloads. Anyone and everyone will now be able to listen to music from the show, (on SoundCloud, for example), but downloads will remain a patron-only reward. Log in to Patreon to learn how to access your downloads.
HOW TO SUPPORT THE SHOW
Our plan is that this show will always be available for free, but super fans are encouraged to support The Conversation Hat via Patreon. There’s a whole bunch of rewards available for doing so, including your own Conversation Hat hat, downloads of music written for the show and early access to episodes: www.patreon.com/conversationhat
If patronage isn't up your street, then maybe this is for you: Super Loot want to deliver a box of nerdy merch and geek chic to your doorstep each month, and will do so for £19.99, (you can get your first one for £15!) Take a gander, right flippin' now! www.superloot.co.uk/ConversationHat
If you'd like to support the show without spending any money, (which is fine by the way, I guess), there are a few ways you can do that: feel free to follow us on Twitter and retweet anything you see us post; like us on Facebook and hit as many thumbs-up icons as you possibly can; Follow StabbedPandaTV on YouTube, watch some of the Conversation Hat videos hosted on there and leave some nice comments on the videos as well; leaving us a positive review on whatever listening platform you use is also massively helpful, especially so on iTunes.

Irregular guest and long-time chum Si Pettit joins us this week to answer questions from the insatiable Hat. Stuart "Ashens" Ashen is, amongst many things, a well-known YouTuber who's channel is dedicated to reviewing oddities, games and gadgets - usually knock-offs of successful products and brands. He also co-hosts the Barshens YouTube channel and podcast with Barry Lewis of MyVirginKitchen and has a variety of film, TV and web credits to his name.
Simon Caine is a stand-up comic, writer and podcast host who we've been trying to pin-down for about a year now. He was kind enough to find time to talk to us in a field, during the Cambridge Comedy Fringe Festival. We chat about how to accessorise like a pirate, our personal ideas of hell and favourite musicals / show-tunes.
